My Mission
I seek to share my passion for, and the joy of, music with all in order to inspire others to listen and learn. As a teacher, my ultimate goal is ensure my students have the tools to flourish without me, encouraging them to become their own teachers, appreciators of art and beauty in the world, and to follow any path their sense of curiosity takes them. I always strive to take the individual's goals into consideration, striking a balance between musical and technical essentials and their own unique interests.
Private Lessons
I offer private lessons in percussion, including snare drum, mallets, timpani, marching percussion, and drum set – both in person and online. In the past, I have taught a wide range of students, from elementary school beginners to advanced collegiate students to adults continuing music as a hobby. My students have found success in college auditions, both undergraduate and graduate, summer festivals, and all-state circuits.
